INDOOR TRAINING COMPLEX
Work on the Indoor Training Facility at the club is progressing really well with plans being made for an official opening event on 27th September 2014, with more details to follow. In the meantime the club have been proud to receive funding from the SWEAT Action Trust. This group has been very supportive of the venture to create an indoor facility which will provided a much needed winter training complex for local children and for the wider community teams. As part of their support Sweat Action Trust generously donated £5000 towards the indoor facility and the cheque was presented to Trevor Wilson, Max Findlater and Wullie Boyd by trust members Colonel James Chatteris, Mike Rae and Christine Cameron. Our sincere graditude goes to the trust and all the groups who have supported this large development.
The club is urgently looking for new coaches to come along and assist with the training of its players. We currently have teams at the under 8's, under 10's and under 13's all of whom would benefit from extra assistance. There is no need for previous experience as the club will put you through your coaches badges cost free. So anyone who is interested and can spare 2 hours a week is asked to speak to a coach or committee member. The club relies on volunteers and the players benefit from a greater number of coaches who can work with them in smaller groups.
